A Warm Welcome to PATHS’ New Executive Director, Christa Baron

The PATHS team is very excited to welcome our new Executive Director, Christa Baron!

Christa Baron (she/her) has spent more than 25 years working in the Regina community in roles spanning front-line service and nonprofit leadership. She most recently served as Executive Director of SOFIA House, a second- and third-stage housing organization supporting women and families as they move away from violence and toward stability. Her work there focused on strengthening governance, financial systems, and organizational foundations during a period of transition and growth. Christa’s approach is grounded in trauma-informed, feminist, and anti-oppressive practice, with an emphasis on collaboration and steady decision-making. She looks forward to working alongside PATHS staff, member organizations, and partners in support of advocacy, research, coordination, and violence prevention efforts across Saskatchewan.
