PATHS has two articles published in the newest issue of the Journal of Community of Safety and Well-Being! This journal is open access and freely available.
The first article, Addressing gender-based violence in Saskatchewan through second-stage housing: an overview of research and setting new directions, was led by Dr. Emily Grafton (Department of Politics and International Studies, University of Regina) with Dr. Amber J. Fletcher (Department of Sociology and Social Studies, University of Regina), Crystal J. Giesbrecht (PATHS), and Tmira Marchment (SOFIA House).
The second article, The need for a Canadian Criminal Code offence of coercive control, by PATHS’s Director of Research Crystal J. Giesbrecht, explains potential benefits of the implementation of a coercive control offence. This article is a shorter version of a submission made by PATHS to the Department of Justice Canada.
