Provincial Association of Transition Houses and Services of Saskatchewan (PATHS)
The Provincial Association of Transition Houses and Services of Saskatchewan (PATHS) is the member association for agencies that provide emergency shelter and/or counselling services to survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) in Saskatchewan.
PATHS works to create safer communities by working with community agencies and government, and by providing public education on the issue of violence against women. Our members range from Black Lake and La Ronge in the north to Swift Current and Estevan in the south.
Position Responsibilities
The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for providing leadership alongside the Director of Research. Also providing support and maintaining governance for the board of directors and committees, and for managing and growing PATHS profile and financial health. Working alongside the Director of Research and reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will maintain existing grant, donor and funding relationships, manage reporting and accounting for all revenue streams and explore new avenues for revenue, and lead the annual audit. The ED will be the primary point of contact for the board, stakeholders, funders, and members, media, and will oversee community events. Additionally, the ED will work to identify opportunities for growth in existing services. The ED will serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization.
