This Overview training experiential training provides participants with an introduction to, and overview of, the Safe & Together™ Model. It gives the foundation for domestic violence-informed practice by focusing on cross-cutting themes, pattern-based approach and survivor strengths.

About the Safe & Together™ Model Overview Training
This one-day experiential training is an introduction to, and overview of, the Safe & Together™ Model. It gives the foundation for domestic violence-informed practice by focusing on cross-cutting themes, pattern-based approach and survivor strengths. The presentation provides participants with:

  • Information about creating a domestic violence-informed child welfare system.
  • Principles and components of the Safe & Together Model.
  • Information about the framework behind competency-building in child welfare around domestic violence.

Objectives

  • To introduce a perpetrator pattern framework.
  • To introduce and understand the Safe & Together Model principles and components and how those guide practice in various roles.
  • To introduce how to use the Safe & Together Model as a way to enhance good practice in various roles.
  • To share information about the range of activities and offerings from the Safe & Together Institute.

Cancellation Policy

You may request to cancel your registration for a refund minus a 10% administrative fee up to 10 business days before the event. Cancellations up to three days before the event may be transferred to a future session of the same training, or you may receive a refund minus a 25% administrative fee. Cancellations made less than three days before the event may not receive a refund or a transfer. When you register for a training session, you agree to these terms.
